| The JASOA was created in
1990 and operates from
the U.S Navy Base in
Yokosuka, Japan. We officiate all team sport
activities sponsored by the Yokosuka Morale Welfare
and Recreation (MWR) Center and the Department of
Defense Educational Activities (DoDEA).
For
over 15 years, we have been
providing Referees for the following sports: Basket
Ball, Football,
Soccer,
Softball and Volley
Ball.
JASOA officials are
among the most performant of all U.S. Referees and Umpires operating in
U.S. military installations in Japan.
Over the years, the JASOA has also been deeply
involved with the Yokosuka community, providing
scholarships and grants to students from the Base's
elementary and High Schools.
